Real estate transactions at the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 1.6 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed, on Thursday, the registration of 318 sales worth 1.25 billion dirhams, including 45 sales of land worth 289.94 million dirhams and 273 sales of apartments and villas worth 957.71 million dirhams. The “Palm Jumeirah” area in Dubai recorded the sale of a residential apartment under construction within the “Ava at Palm Jumeirah by Omniyat” project for a value of 220 million dirhams. Its area is 2,987 square meters.


The most important land sales were worth 65 million dirhams in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area, followed by a sale worth 43.35 million dirhams in the Palm Jebel Ali area, followed by a sale worth 19.12 million dirhams in the Al Habiyah 5 area. The fifth district of Al Habiyah topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 20 sales worth 89.21 million dirhams, followed by the first Jebel Ali area, recording 6 sales worth 26.02 million dirhams, and a third in Hind City 4, recording 4 sales worth 5.31 million dirhams.

As for the most important sales of apartments and villas, the most important sale was a sale worth 220 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, followed by a sale worth 95 million dirhams in the Al Thanya Fourth area, and finally a sale worth 24.7 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area. The Business Bay area topped the regions in terms of the number of apartment and villa sales, recording 21 sales worth 29.02 million dirhams, followed by the Burj Khalifa area, recording 19 sales worth 88.94 million dirhams, and third in “Wadi Al Safa 5” recording 18 sales worth 38.71 million dirhams.

The mortgages recorded a value of 355.19 million dirhams, including 9 land mortgages with a value of 15.09 million dirhams and 107 mortgages for villas and apartments with a value of 340.1 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the “Jazira 2” area with a value of 86.6 million dirhams and another in the Al Thanyah 4 area with a value of 69.92 million dirhams. As for donations, it witnessed the registration of 21 donations worth 31.86 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the Dubai Marina area worth 10.21 million dirhams, and another in the Al Thanyah 5 area worth 4.6 million dirhams.
